2012 comes to an end

As we approach the end of 2012, ELA would like to express our utmost gratitude to our collaborators and supporters without whom our work would not be possible.

If you are fortunate enough to be able to make an end of the year contribution, please consider supporting our Garifuna summer program, our Meso-American New York film, or other projects. If you or someone you know speaks a language at risk of being lost, please contact us!

We are currently busy editing and uploading recordings made during our summer workshop in Timor. We have collected significant materials in over a dozen local languages of the Timor/Rote area, some of which can now be seen in their preliminary form on ELA’s YouTube page. Captions and annotations will be added in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned for upcoming announcements on local ELA events.

Seasons greetings,
